THE NIGERIAN IN AMERICA TOP MODEL...
THE OBJECTIVE:
The idea of the Nigerian in America Top Model
is to encourage young Nigerian men and women to
be role models in the American society. The focus is on
educated and dedicated Nigerian youths living in
America. As role models they will lead by
example and practice the culture and ideals
of their native country. They will encourage
their peers to lead a descent
lifestyle and encourage them of the
importance of obtaining an education while
also educating others about the cultural
differences that exist between the diverse youths in
the American society. A competition will be
held annually to elect a top model.

The competitors applied from all over the United states.
The show was held on May 22nd 2006 at the Memorial Civic Center in
Morton Grove Illinois. It was a great success.

Temitope Sofowora. She is indeed a beauty both inside and out.
She is a very beautiful, highly intelligent, very articulate, exceptional
courteous
down to earth and most importantly God fearing young girl in her early 20's.
Temitope stood out amongst others,She carried herself with
grace and elegance. She made us proud to be Nigerians.
She is indeed a role Model to reckon with.
